PT Semen Indonesia - September 2013

In a bid to reduce logistics costs and bring it closer to its customers, PT Semen Indonesia is building a new packaging plant in Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan. The US$10.4m facility is due for completion by the end of this year. The plant will have a 600,000t silo and will be equipped with a two-line rotary cement packer with a capacity of 2200 bags/hour and one output line with a 120tph capacity. The plant will also have a port serving ships of up to 5000dwt.
