For the last few days we are facing problem of clinker cooler 1st drive (hydrolic) stroke lengthwhich is(125 mm originally) varies from 100 to 120mm means for few time it is running 100 mm some time 110 and 115 and so on. I want to know

1- Why it is happening?

re Clinker cooler stroke length

Dear Original displacement is 125 mm , Its included cushions in about 10 mm either in forward and reverse actions , which is mean the max actual stroke will be 100 mm ( Depending on proximity initiator type or ramps ) . Strokes length linked to No. of strokes per minutes and clinker bed on the first grate . Please pass to me your clinker cooler design and your cylinder type in order to help more . All the best ILA
