The company has just completed setting up a new facility at Oragadam Sipcot Industrial Complex, Chennai . This facility has a capacity to produce more than 75,000 Sq.m of composite wear plates per annum and now Tecknoweld Alloys is slated to be among the top five leading manufacturers of Composite Wear Plates in the world. Tecknoweld Alloys cater to the wear protection requirements of core sector industries like Power, Cement, Mining, Iron & Steel and their OEM’s in India and around the world. Our products have been already exported to countries like Malaysia, Thailand, Taiwan, UAE, Qatar, Italy & Nigeria directly and to Europe & USA indirectly through our OEM s. Tecknoweld Alloys is a Supporting Company Member of American Welding Society. Tecknoweld Ultra Plates are manufactured in a State of the art manufacturing facility with a unique in – house developed metal arc process. We have a fully equipped fabrication shop which can handle up to 15 Tons which can be extended depending on client's requirement. Well-developed Quality Assurance plans with in-built, in process and final inspection procedures assure only quality products leave our shop floor. Our state of the art QA lab boasts the following equipments: 1.Leemans lab Atomic Absorption Spectrometer 2.Image analyser 3.ASTM G 65 Dry Abrasion Test Rig 4.ASTM G 76 Air Jet Erosion Test Rig 5.Hardness Tester Tecknoweld employs about 250 people directly out of which about 40 people are qualified Engineers and the estimated business for the current year is about 10,000,000 USD.
