Semapa last month won a 30 percent stake in Portucel in the second stage of the company’s privatisation. State control fell to about 25 per cent. Net profit per share reached Euro 8.06m, compared to Euro 7.73m. The company reported a Euro 253.41m operating profit, a 4.0 per cent decrease, and a turnover of Euro 1.463bn, compared to Euro 1.462bn.
