Turkey’s Savings Deposit Insurance Fund (TMSF) handed over four of nine cement factories auctioned off last month to their new owners in a ceremony at the agency’s headquarters in Istanbul on 30 December 2005. Cementos Portland chief increases his holdings

Jose Manuel Revuelta, the general manager of Spanish cement firm Cementos Portland, a subsidiary of leading Spanish construction and services group FCC, has bought 500 shares in the firm, or 0.002 per cent, for 34,500 euros. As a result of the operation, Mr Revuelta has increased his stake in Cementos Portland to 0.004 per cent.

Saudi Yamama Cement to raise capital to US$360m
