Hail to run on Wärtsilä power
The need for reliable power plants in the Middle East and Africa is welcome news to Wärtsilä who continue to support the industry with the installation of power-generating facilities. As well as equipping existing cement factories the company has also been involved in setting up a power plant for Hail Cement's new greenfield works in Saudi Arabia. Wärtsilä outlines its power technology.
Inside Hail Cement's power plant
In 2011, Wärtsilä was awarded the contract to supply the engineering, equipment and construction for a power plant to be delivered for Saudi Arabian cement manufacturer Hail Cement. The power unit will provide electricity for the customer’s own industrial use.
