Podgorensky opens for business
Eurocement Group is already the dominant cement producer in Russia with 16 cement plants in 2012. At the end of last year the company increased its number of domestic cement plants by announcing that the Podgorensky plant was now ready to begin commercial production. The facility is situated in an area with abundant raw material reserves that should exceed 100Mt. By Eurocement Group, Russia.
Podgorensky Cement has a 3Mta cement capacity and is the newest plant in Eurocement Group
In December 2012, Eurocement Group opened a new, state-of-the-art cement plant in the Voronezh region of Russia. The Podgorensky Cement plant uses dry-process technology with a clinker capacity of 6000tpd and 3Mta of cement.
