In 2014 El Nadha Cement plant in Qena, Egypt, completed an overhaul of its VRM roller bearings in record time. This was achieved through good preparation, an experienced on-site team and effective communication between the plant and the mill manufacturer, Loesche. The El Nadha Cement plant is located in Qena, Egypt, 700km south of Cairo. Comprising a single kiln line, which was supplied by Sinoma and commissioned in early 2012, it has a production capacity of 5500tpd. Its Loesche vertical cement mill LM 63.3+3 (300tph capacity) began operations on 10 February 2012 and has since performed above expectations.
