JKCWF, a subsidiary of JK Cement Ltd (JKCL) India, is one of the leading producers of grey cement and the second-largest manufacturer of white cement in India. Set up in association with Fujairah Investment Establishment, at a cost of US$150m, JKCWF is the world’s first dual- process technology cement plant capable of producing 0.6Mta of white cement or 1Mta of grey cement, both through the same kiln. The plant was designed and supplied by Promac Engineering Industries Ltd, Bangalore, and India & Taiheiyo Engineering Corporation Tokyo, Japan. Since it began production in February 2014, it has manufactured only white clinker and cement.
