The overall conclusions are not too bearish for 2019. Exane BNP Paribas (EBP) forecasts a mixed year with pockets of solid EBITDA growth, despite the maturing economic cycle. Regional exposure, cost leadership and a focus on sustainability will determine the winners this year.
