Life after COVID-19: lessons from around the world: Ian Riley, WCA (UK)
 After graduating from Cambridge University in 1979, Mr Riley worked in a number of management roles in the UK, the USA, Australia and Japan before moving to China in 1998. He was General Manager of a British project management and consulting firm, based in Shanghai, and also Chairman of the British Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai before joining Holcim/Huaxin in 2006.

As Huaxin VP, Mr Riley was responsible for international business, strategy and sustainability and oversaw Huaxin’s first overseas venture in Tajikistan. Mr Riley was Greater China Country Head for LafargeHolcim from 2014 to 2019. He has been CEO of WCA since September 2019.
A perspective on pandemic dynamics in the building materials and construction sectors and end-market outlook: Arne Burfeind, Boston Consulting Group (Switzerland)
Arne Burfeind is the head of Boston Consulting Group's building materials practice in Central Europe, Middle East & Africa. He is a core group member of the industrial goods practice and senior expert in heavy- and lightside building materials, as well as in distribution and construction-related engineered products. His main clients in this industry are medium- to major-sized, family-owned global players.

He has global project expertise in western Europe, US, Russia, Middle East & Africa and southeast Asia. He joined BCG 10 years ago from Holcim Group Support, where he was Global Head of Commercial Strategies.
