Construction has begun this month on PT Indocement’s new brownfield cement plant in Citeureup, Bogor. The plant will have a production capacity of 4.4Mta, making it the biggest in Indonesia. Costing up to IDR6.5trn (US$670m), the plant is due to be operational by 2015.
