China National Building Materials (CNBM) - August 2015

CNBM International Engineering Co Ltd, along with FLSmidth Pvt India, has signed a memorandum of understanding with Mamba Cement Company for the engineering, supply and construction of a 3000tpd greenfield cement plant in Bagamoyo, Tanzania. The project is expected to take 30 months to complete.

Meanwhile, China Triumph International Engineering Co Ltd (CTIEC), the technology and engineering arm of CNBM has joined forces with WElink, a specialist clean energy company, and RAEF US, the US subsidiary of renewable energy investment specialist RAEF, to develop a pipeline of renewable energy projects across North America totalling US$1bn. RAEF US will be responsible for identifying project opportunities while WElink/CTIEC will handle their design, engineering, procurement, supply and construction.
