AfriSam is reportedly appointing a new chief executive officer to help pave the way for the company’s proposed merger with PPC. Stephen Olivier, AfriSam’s existing CEO, is to be replaced on a short-term basis by Rob Wessels, a former chief investment officer at AfriSam’s partner Phembani Group, until the permanent candidate is announced.
