Anhui Conch - August 2018

Anhui Conch has resumed production at its Tongling Cement subsidiary in Anhui province following the temporary suspension of three production lines in June this year. On 21 July the company received written notification from Tongling Environmental Protection Bureau requesting immediate resumption of Tongling Conch’s waste incineration and ancillary systems for the treatment of domestic waste from Tongling City. To enable this, the three previously suspended clinker lines at Tongling Conch have restarted operations. According to the company, "to secure the ordinary operation of the waste treatment and ancillary systems, Tongling Conch Pier, as an important channel for the shipping and cement and clinker products and delivery of raw coal to Tongling Conch, has also resumed operation."
