Anhui Conch - February 2019

Kawasaki Heavy Industries has delivered two CK Mills to China’s Jiande Conch Cement via Anhui Conch Kawasaki Energy Conservation Equipment Manufacturing (CKM), a joint venture between Kawasaki and Anhui Conch Group. The mills are type CK490 and boast the highest production capacity available from Kawasaki at 220tph. They have a table track diameter of 4900mm, a 5100kW motor and four rollers.

Kawasaki is handling the design and technical guidance on the project, while CKM is in charge of manufacturing and delivery. Kawasaki has made a number of improvements to the mills’ grinding roller configurations to reduce vibration, provide around a 30 per cent reduction in electric power consumption, and deliver a more energy-efficient performance. In light of this, Kawasaki has designed the CK Mill as a ‘Kawasaki Green Product’ due to its exceptional environmental performance.
