Cementos Argos and Dinant Corp have joined forces to reduce waste going to landfill in Honduras.

Dinant is a family-owned consumer products manufacturer founded in Honduras in 1960 with products sold across Central America and the Dominican Republic.

Dinant and Argos have signed an agreement for post-industrial waste generated from Dinant’s production processes to be co-processed at Argos’ Piedras Azules cement plant in Comayagua, Honduras. The 12-month agreement will establish the technical, chemical and physical evaluation of the residues to be approved for co-processing, with both parties signing a definitive agreement at the end of the period.
