what is the different between white cement kiln and normal portland cement kiln? is process the same? which process is more difficult? I am new in cement industry and don't know more about white cement.
Both white and grey cements are Ordinary Portland cements, but white cement has a low iron content which means that its colour is much lighter (almost white) compared with normal grey Portland cement. There are some differences in the manufacturing process relating to the burning in the kiln and the cooling of the clinker. Manufacturing white cement is more difficult than grey cement.
