Raw mill outlet duct wear rate

 Hey;

I would like to know some information about the wear out in duct, which I have raw mill balling mill swept air type and we face problem with wear out at outlet duct,so I need some information to reduce that wear and how can I calculate the wear rate?

This is a common problem. There are wear resistant linings available that can be applied to the inside of ducts. The wear rate can only be measured by weighing sections of duct when installed and then when replaced. Alternatively coupons of the same material as the duct could welded onto the inside of the duct.
