What is the difference between Kiln torque and Kiln kw as some plants run their kiln by following the kiln kw and some plants follow the kiln Torque.

And our kiln by Amp, WHY?!!!

Basically, power is equal to the torque multiplied by rotational speed (RPM).

If the motor uses a fixed voltage, power will be proportional to the amps.

So basically, torque, motor power and motor amps will show similar trends and can all be used to control the burning zone.

Best regards.
