Is there is the way to reduce alkalis content (Na 2O + K 2O) in cement without wasting it?

Only by selection of low alkali raw materials.

With a well balanced alkali sulphate ratio, ASR, the need for bypass is reduced. This is because most of the alkalies will combine with the sulphate to form alkali sulphate which goes out with the clinker

Would you please tell me little more about ASR and what ratio of it will do formation of alkali sulphate?
