I would like to know that, which form of clinker aluminate phase i.e. Orthorohmbic and Cubic is more reactive? What will be effect on setting time of cement mortar with Cubic and Orthorhombic form of aluminate phase?

Orthorhombic C3A is formed when the melt crystallises in the presence of alkalis and can be expected to be more reactive than cubic C3A.
