Is there any correlation between degree of sulfatization and clinker grindability?

if you mean by sulfatization ( gyp. addition ) - so, yes ther is co relation because there is a role said every 2% addition of gyp. = increasing the SSB by 10 m2/KG

Dear electron1539,
The molar ratio of sulfate to alkalis is known as the degree of sulfatization.I didn't mean gypsum addition.

dear Raj
If clinker SO3 is increased beyond the molar saturation of alkalis, an increase in both clinker
fineness and grinding energy is noted.
Key figures:
+1% Excess SO3 = +5 kWh/t at 350 m²/kg
Excess SO3 = SO3 clinker -1,29 (% Eq. Na2O total)
