Re: Raw meal to clinker ratio
chari:thank you sir,I have taken the mass balance of the circuit and found your calculation is perfect to 100%.
You are welcome Chari, I am happy to be of assistance.

Re: Raw meal to clinker ratio
Dear Mr. TED,
i have a problem that i have no measuring system for Bag House dust,n most of the time im taking this dust into kiln feed silo not into kiln feed then how i will calculate the clinker factor.
i have double string 5 stage with top twin cyclone.

Re: Raw meal to clinker ratio
Hello Sheikh,
Does your conditioning tower dust also go into the kiln feed silo?
If not, then instead of using the raw meal LOI you could use the kiln feed LOI in the calculations above, because the raw mill baghouse dust and the raw meal ex the mill are both being recombined again in the kiln feed silo.
In this case, you would have to use the average kiln feed LOI measured over a long period when the raw mill was running. (ie when bagfilter dust was continuously being added to the kiln feed silo)
If the CT (conditioning tower) dust is also added to the kiln feed silo, further information about the amount of CT dust being added to the silo (or alternatively, the top cyclone separation efficiency plus the kiln feed rate) and the LOI of the CT dust need to be known.
Regards,
Ted.
