Dear Dr. Zoey I want to type a part from the Taylor "Cement Chemistry":
"Nodulization requires an adequate proportion of liquid, and is favoured by low viscosity and high surface tension of the liquid and by small particle size of the solid (Tl.PI7).
If there is not enough liquid, the outer parts of the nodules become enriched
in silicates, some of which form dust (P15). Overburning can have a similar
effect (LIO)."
Every plant has own raw mix characteristics to regulate good nodulization, but it will be optimal quantityi of liquid, with low viscosity and high surface tension.
