iIF U PUT Pa = 1mmwg/9.81 in Watt = Pa * m3/s than Watt = mmwg*m3/s divided by 9.81 Than kiloWatt = mmwg * m3/s /( 1000*9.81) pl. comment

Mr xxxx

since you are taking the reading in mmwg ,you have to multiply 9.81 to convert it to Pa then divide it by 1000 to get Kw. you are doing in a reverse way.

The Kw calculation is nothing but work done per second

and work done is always the air handled and pressure

no i am not doing the reverse way. just see 1 mmwg = 9.81 Pa than Pa = 1mmwg / 9.81 than put the value of Pa in the formula = Pa * volume (m3/s) it becomes watt = (mmwg/9.81) * volume (m3/s) so u do not get 102 in denomenator pl. check

Let us take an example of a fan

Pressure = 5393 Pa, Volume =21.1m3/sec KWatt = 5393*21.1/1000 = 113.7 Kw

Now converting pascal to mmwg by deviding 9.81

pressure = 550mmwg , Volume =21.1m3/sec KWatt = 550*21.1/102= 113.7 Kw

1mmwg = 9.81Pa

Then 2mmwg = 19.62 Pa

X mmwg = X * 9.81 Pa, it will be a multiplication not devidation, i Think you are clear from the data
