In our cement plant, the roll press pre-crush the ball mill material. The ball mill output goes to a vsk separator and the rejects goes to the ball mill for further grinding. I have notice by diverting a portion of this material back to the roll press, the power draw on the roll press goes to maximum.
Can anyone confirm this? Is their plants that work in this manner?
One rule of thumb I learned: Maximum power draw = maximum production.
