it is used to attain variable speed for load where it is required e.g. feed belts, EP fans, cooler fans, separator fans etc.

motor input supply frequency is varied to get motor variable speed. more supply frequency more speed

Mill Vent fan plays a vital role in cement fineness which speed can be controlled by VFD.Further it can be made PID to fine tune the mill velocity by Fan speed Vs Mill inlet draft.Velocity will be maintained 1.2-1.5m/sec.Saving of power is additional benefit.
