Dear Experts,
What can be the reasons of material spillage from kiln inlet seal? Our kiln many times even running under capacity start spilling material from the seal. The system has bypass circuit which is running always but still we fce this problem. Kiln is 5 Stage, ILC, single string. And below Cyclone 4 is material splitter for splitting the material towards the upper and lower part of the calciner. Kindly share your openion in this regard also that what should be the splitter ratio?
any ring in kiln or heavy coating. f yes then degree of filling become high and spillage start at kiln inlet

We found inlet throat casted area size differed from the designed height because at the time of casting, the person used anchors which were small in length compared to the length in design. Now we are changing it.
