Dear chari

         Thanks you

         To give calculation flame momentum on the basic of % PA* Velocity.

          But sir i want know any conversion  factor between above flame momentum to N /MW

          Most of expert given flame momentum in N /MW  flame optimisation.

          Regards

Dear Sharma ji

The burner momentum in N/MW is calculated as

A (N/MW) = (M x V)/P

where M = Mass of air in kg/sec

V = velocity at nozzel in m/s

and P = Heat Capacity at sintering zone in Megga watt.

For old burners the value is 7 to 12 N/MW

for new burners it is 4 to 10 N/MW

Thank you very much for your attached sheet. I need precisions about this file : - can I use the same formul of flow fonction to calculate the nozzle air flow for DUOFLEX type DBN (Kiln 1800t/d) - Nozzle coefficient can be used for all DUOFLEX burner ?
