snow man
We are facing of snow man. Every week a snow man appear on the Cooper.
1-we changed the chemistry : decreasing liquide phase
2-we add new blasters were the snowman start
3-we put the burner more inside in the kiln
4-we increase the air flow on static greate.
But snow man's problème is not solve . it come back every 3 days after we remouve it
The only new thing in kiln is, we are puted a blaster on top of the burner to remouve rhino.

Hello Yndiaye,
How often do you blast the rhino horn? It could be that large lumps of rhino horn buildup are dropping onto the static grate and not moving away fast enough, causing a base for snowmen to form.
If this is the case, I would suggest blasting the rhino horn more often, so it doesn't grow so big and the pieces which fall onto the static grate will be smaller and more easily handled by the air flow.

Ted

Ted's explanation is plausible. Another factor could be that after removing rhino build ups your flame has become shorter and more intense. If that is the case, the cooling zone inside the kiln could now be shorter with more liquid phase in the clinker leaving the kiln.
The best frequency of rhino shooting depends on the speed of rhino formation - we also have a rhino blaster and shoot every 10 minutes as a preventive measure.
