DEAR ALL
I WANT TO REDUCE MY VRM MAIN MOTOR LOAD FOR THE SAME OUTPUT .

MINE IS A ATOX 42.5 , WITH TABLE LOAD OF 1850 KW & 1800 KW ON FAN .
I AM OPERATING IT AT 210 TPH RAW MEAL.
MY INLET TEMP IS 170-180 DEG, OUTLET 85-90 DEG,
MILL DP INCLUDING SEPR 90 MBAR.
WATER SPRAY ON TABLE IS 4-5 M3/HR .
CAN I DO SOMETHING WITH THE DAM RING HEIGHT OR GRINDING PRESSURE OR SOMRTHING ELSE.
MY PRESENT GRINDING PRESSURE IS 90-95 BAR.
PLEASE DO SUGGEST.

re VRM OPTIMIZATION
Dear Sidhant
If your VRM has a cyclone battery, if know you to reduce the power consumption alt least of the VRM Main fan.
In that case you could install either a complete new HURRICLON cyclone or even just the HURRIVANE as dip tube add on.
With HURRIVANE you could save 30 % of pressure rop accross your cclones.
If you need any detail information please come back to me.
Regards
