re Drop of kiln feed rate
Nael,
You are 100 % true, problem is located some where and our forum is searching at some where. All the participants of forum are thinking about quality of raw mix but we have not discussed about the process problems. As know that the indian cement industry is process dominate oriented. At last we concluded that the problem is located with burner because if, the problem is lying with raw mix it may leads to maximum 10 tph deviation. But here in our case we are not getting the required nox even afeter reducing the feed rate from 330 to 250. Collectively QC department has taken decision to look at the burner and immediately convinced the management and stopped the kiln.
I am sharing the photo graph of burner tip. After shut down and changing the burner we restarted the kiln day before yester day and success fully we are operating the kiln with 330 tph with same raw mix. wantedly we have not operated the VRM in order to proove that there is no problem with raw mix and we succeeded.
I am requesting the forum try to address the problems of process as well as QC, so the peopple working with QC department may not suffer unnecessarly.
Kindly share this experience on this topic so that it can be eye opening for half knowledge kiln in-charges/operators........
With regards,
BLM

Hi BLM
Nice to know that your problem has been resolved. Can you please share clinker 1/3 days strength in lab ball mill OPC for higher and lower feed rate of kiln? Did you carried out clinker microscopic study for two different clinker ? These all is for my understanding and can be sent to my email id tushar_ghorai@yahoo.com
