Since the kiln shell helps in corrosion i would like to know how economical it is. Also how much heat loss would it prevent. Could you all please shower some light on it.

Kiln pairing is advantageous to avid corrosion because other wise after some year you have to replace the portion of shell which is more costly. Apart from this shell radiation will help but not that much.
