Please tell I am getting high chloride in hot meal upto 1.6% .
With the same raw material, AF & burning conditions.
Means raw material input chloride, fuel chloride, AF chloride is same.
I have to reduce AF tph from 6tph to 1.5 tph only and some needs to stop due to high chloride in hot meal upto 1.7% .
Preheater dust is not recycled .Any problem with burner or Preheater or any other system .

This is a common problem. Chloride typically concentrates to 100x the inputs in the hot meal. Only a slight variation in the chloride content of raw materials or fuels can lead to hot meal chloride above 1.5% and potentially sticky hot meal and preheater blockages. You need to install a kiln inlet bypass if you want to burn high quatities of alternative fuels.

How chloride gets out from the system ?
As its evaporation is almost100% , then how much we get it out in clinker.
As its evaporation takes place around 700 to750m deg & it never condenses, then how can we remove it from the kiln system.
in chlorine bypass why it is cooled by air then sent for pptn in ESP or BH?
Please share calculation sheet for chloride balance in a kiln system.

After your AFR action . Kiln operation will improve . But if having margin your Ph fan. first improve O2 level. After smooth operation cl coating wash out from system. Pl share hot meal component. ( S03, K2O,Na2o,CL) with clinker component. If having problem in flame shaping . Pl make short flame.
