Vietnam is estimated to have produced 7.9Mt of cement in August, an increase of 8.7 per cent YoY, according to the latest data from the country’s General Statistics Office. The production of cement in Senegal remained largely stable YoY at 3,543,100t in the first half of 2019, according to Sahel Intelligence. Tajikistan has announced that around 2.328Mt of cement was produced in the country over the first seven months of 2019. According to the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies, this is around 209,000t higher than in January-July 2018.
