Kaliningrad Commercial Seaport and HeidelbergCement Group (Germany) on September 4 will launch a terminal designed for handling cement. Initially, the terminal will have the capacity of 200,000tpa of cement. In future, it will be increased to 400,000-500,000tpa. The investments in the construction totaled EUR7m. With the reconstruction and extension of the access railway to the port the terminal’ capacity may be increased to 1Mta of cementy, the DARS Consulting information agency reported.
