The third phase project funded by Jiangxi Yadong Cement Co., Ltd with RMB826m, was formally completed and went into operation, according to the latest information from the company. The company’s clinker production capacity will exceed 6mt and its production capacity of various types of cement will be approximately 8mt, realizing more than RMB200M in pretax profits. Yadong Cement is the largest Taiwan-funded enterprise in Jiangxi Province, with a total investment of RMB2.8bn. The first phase of its plant started in 1997 and was completed in July 2000.
