The French utility Suez said Wednesday that its Glow Energy unit had signed two power supply agreements with units of the Thai group Siam Cement Company worth US$500-600m over 20 years.
In preparation for the new contracts, which are to benefit petrochemical companies affiliated with Siam Cement, Glow Energy plans to build additional generation capacity, Suez said.
