In a joint venture with Fly Ash Management, Topeka (KS), US cement maker Ash Grove Cement has launched Ash Grove Resources (AGR). The new company is to supply supplementary cementitious materials such as Class C fly ash and Ash Grove’s cement kiln dust, branded as Durabase CKD, to the concrete and building industries from Nebraska to Texas.

The fly ash will be sourced from the Tecumseh and Jeffrey Energy Centers in Kansas and from Nebraska City, Nebraska. Ash Grove Cement plants in Chanute (KS), Midlothian (TX) and Foreman (AR) will deliver Durabase CKD.

Brady Pryor, AGR president commented: “There is a strong market demand for cementitious products throughout the Midwest, and Ash Grove Resources will meet those needs.”
