Ciments de l‘Afrique (CIMAF) and Polysius France have signed a contract for the construction of a cement grinding plant and a cement dispatch centre in Guinea.
The order comprises the entire scope of activities, from plant planning, procurement, manufacturing and delivery right up to the plant erection and commissioning. The plant has two clinker stores with 30,000t capacity in the port of Conakry. Another clinker store with a storage capacity of 10,000t will be built in the works approximately 45km further North in Massayah. There, a cement grinding plant with ball mill and high-efficiency SEPOL separator will be built for a throughput of 70tph.
The dispatch facility comprises two cement silos, a packing plant equipped with two Roto-packers and cement dispatch equipment.
