Cimentos de Mocambique has started trial tests of a new mill at its Dondo works, local press have reported.
With this investment, the company will increase capacity by around 0.5Mta of cement from the present 0.4Mta. The Dondo works currently serves the Sofala, Tete, Manica and southern Zambézia provinces.
In July of this year Cimentos de Moçambique signed a rental contract on a mill located near the Matola plant, thus increasing its production capacity by 220,000tpa.
