Cement consumption in Spain has fallen again in October by more than 11 per cent, to 1,003,618t. Cement companies associated with Oficemen are focussing their efforts on a major export drive to maintain production levels. However, the announced reform of the power market is expected to erode their competitiveness, according to the industry association.
