Cemex announced it has reached a multi-year strategic partnership with Neoris to provide long-term IT outsourcing services to Cemex around the globe. The agreement covers several projects over the course of the next 10 years and is valued at approximately US$500m.
As part of the agreement, Neoris will provide IT services such as software engineering, application development and technology deployments for multiple projects employing its best-in-class global delivery model. The agreement enhances the services Neoris already provides to Cemex.
“Neoris has delivered great value for many large multinationals, and it will continue contributing in the future development of Cemex,” said Fernando Gonzalez, Executive Vice President of Finance and Administration of Cemex. “This agreement is a key component in Cemex continued transformation of front office services to enhance customer satisfaction as well as driving efficiency in our back-office operations.”
“The work done with Cemex has been critical for our consolidation as one of the most successful emerging players in the global IT services market place,” said Claudio Muruzábal, CEO of Neoris. “We are confident our experience delivering global projects will be an essential component of this endeavor.”
Cemex achieved the successful global integration of the most advanced enterprise platform based on SAP, with the support of Neoris, allowing to tailor customer solutions to meet specific business needs, using cutting-edge technology such as mobile interfaces, fluid collaboration schemes and business-oriented social networking models.
This agreement with Neoris is in addition to the 10 year strategic partnership that Cemex signed with IBM in 2012 for business process, application maintenance and IT outsourcing services.
