Ciments de L’Afrique (Cimaf), a subsidiary of Ciments de L’Atlas, has said it intends to officially start production at its Doula grinding plant in Cameroon next month.
The new milling facility, located in the industrial zone of Bonabéri, will have an initial cement capacity of 0.5Mta and be supplied with clinker from Morocco.
According to local sources, the last bagging tests were recently concluded and the first bag of cement was produced on 27 November 2013.
Polysius France was awarded the contract for the plant, including a 10,000t clinker store, ball mill grinding unit, SEPOL Separator, two cement silos and a packing station with two Roto-packers.
