Vietnam is estimated to have produce 6Mt of cement in April, up seven per cent from March and 12.65 per cent from a year ago, the government’s General Statistics Office (GSO) said.
In the four months to the end of April 2014, domestic cement output rose 7.6 per cent YoY to 19.4Mt, the office said in a monthly report.
The office revised down the country’s cement output in the quarter to 13.4Mt from the earlier estimated figure of 12.7Mt.
In 2013, Vietnam’s cement output hit 56.84Mt, according to the revised figure.
