Despite the difficult circumstances in the Ukraine, Eurocement-Ukraine shipped 73,767t of cement to its customers in January and February 2014, a 10.7 per cent increase on the results for the equivalent period last year (7137t).

CEM I 42.5N and CEM II/A-S 32.5R cement types were the most in demand and are widely used in the construction of residential housing and commercial buildings, as well as road surfaces. In the first two months of 2014, 42,935t of these types of cement were shipped, which was 33.6 per cent more than in the equivalent period in 2013.
