Argentina’s cement industry shipped 905,584t, including exports, in April 2014, reflecting a 0.6 per cent decrease from March and a 7.1 per cent fall YoY. Domestic demand, including imports, reached 895,697t, slipping 0.3 per cent MoM while compared to April 2013, the figure was 5.4 per cent lower.

In the first four months of 2014, Argentina’s cement demand reached 3,557,983t, a two per cent decrease YoY. Exports fell by 42.4 per cent to 108,517t when compared to the previous year.
