Claudius Peters Projects has been awarded a contract from PT Semen Padang, part of Semen Indonesia, to supply two new cement storage silos for the cement producer's new Indarung VI project.
The scope of supply comprises two storage silos type IC with Inspection chamber, each with a diameter of 20m and a volume of 9000m³. The two silos are to be placed on two rail tracks in line with four existing and well proven Claudius Peters IC Silos, which were supplied in the 1990’s. From each silo, three rail cars from two trains are loaded by mobile loaders. The two new silos will be placed on rail tracks with different radius curves.
Indarung VI, which is expected to commence operation in the second half of 2016, will also be equipped with two packing plants, also to be supplied by Claudius Peters.
