Vietnam is estimated to have produced 5Mt of cement in September, up four per cent from the previous month and nine per cent YoY, the government’s General Statistics Office (GSO) said.

In the first nine months, the country’s cement output has risen 4.8 per cent YoY to 43.3Mt, the office said in its monthly cement report.

The office has also revised down the country’s cement output in August to 4.8Mt from the earlier estimated figure of 5Mt.

In 2013, Vietnam’s cement output hit 56.84Mt, according to the revised figure.
